JetTool FT-Series

The JetTool FT-Series Waterjet Cutting Systems are one of the smallest and most economical robotic waterjet trimming solutions. Each FT-Series waterjet system features one or two wall-mounted KMT AccuTrim™ robots, each plumbed for high-pressure waterjet delivery, equipped with a high-performance waterjet nozzle and KMT’s exclusive 6th-axis coil for improved part accessibility.
The FT-Series waterjet cutting systems are ideal for trimming fabric and non-woven materials, composites and plastics. They can be programmed to trim a variety of part sizes and shapes.
JetTool G-Series
The JetTool G-Series open gantry-style waterjet cutting systems are designed to accommodate larger part sizes and give system operators access to two sides of the part. They can be loaded and unloaded manually, or incorporated into a complete automated line. The G-series systems feature a 140” long x 72” deep fixture table with a stainless steel tank and high-powered JetVac vacuum system for water and waste collection. The systems can be equipped with two, three or four overhead-mounted robots for higher throughput and increased part accessibility.
JetTool R-Series
KMT Robotic Solutions’ JetTool R-Series waterjet systems are enclosed forsuperior sound abatement and have a rotating wall for increased throughput. R-Series systems can be designed with table sizes ranging from 10 to 18 feet, enabling them to accommodate a variety of part sizes. They can also come equipped with one, two or three AccuTrim robots to reduce cycle time. R-Series systems are ideally suited for (but not limited to) trimming headliners, trunkliners, sound insulators, carpets and instrument panels.
The rotating wall supports two turntables, one on each side of the wall. Once a part is loaded onto the table and the operator moves from the trimming area to press the Cycle Start button, the part is indexed into the system to be trimmed. As the old part is rotated in, the trimmed part is rotated out to be unloaded.
Safety is our number one priority. Each system is equipped with a variety of safety features (such as light curtains or scanners) designed to separate the operator from the trimming area. This results in a safer and more ergonomic operating environment.
