Waterjet Has Arrived!
Twinco Mfg. Co. of Hauppauge, NY manufactures parts and components for the Railroad and Transit Industries.

These industry components are made of everything from glass to plastic to rubber to stainless steel. According to John Schatz, Fabrication Supervisor, acquiring the KMT Waterjet cutting systems have "expanded our capabilities beyond what we could imagine".
Due to their EDM and laser machines' limitations, parts that were once sent out to be cut can all be machined in-house now.
The addition of of the faster cutting KMT Streamline PRO 90,000 pump has increased the capacity of the machine without adding any substantial operating costs.

Twinco is featured in the July 2011 issue of MetalForming magazine

Early this year Twinco replaced a 60,000-PSI watetjet-cutting machine with this Mitsubishi Suprema OX5 7 0 outfitted with a KMT Waterjet Streamline Pro 60-hp 90,000-PSI pump.
The 50-percent increase in pressure allows the firm to process thicker material and increase cutting speed on thin work, while maintaining edge-and surface-quality tolerances.
