The Heinzen Hydroblade waterjet cutting conveyor is designed to attach multiple waterjet cutting heads for slitting a variety of vegetables, fruit and frozen foods.
Advanced features include channelized stainless steel construction for easy wash down at the end of the production day. The produce moves on a stainless steel open mesh conveyor belt, also for easy sanitary cleaning.
Custom modifications are available to cutting the butt, tips of vegetables and segmenting for perfect portion control.
The biggest advantage of waterjet cutting is the increase in shelf life compared to blades. The blades compress and damage the cells of the produce. Waterjet cutters slit the produce and does not damage the produce, extending shelf life.
Heinzen powers the slitting with the KMT Waterjet 15hp, 50,000psi intensifier pump. The 2290 Heinzen Hydroblade system requires 4-2 GPM @35psi.
